Baisakhi Celebrations:
Baisakhi Festival is the symbol of Joy and Unity. A special festival is celebrated by people in India and other parts of South Asia. Basakhi, also known as Vaisakhi. It's usually celebrated in month of April 13 or 14 in every year. Basakhi festival celebrated to mark the beginning of the Sikh New Year.
The 10th Guru of Sikh community Shri Guru Gobind Sahib Ji commemorates the formation of the Khalsa Panth on this happy day in Anandpur Sahib located in Punjab ( India). The Basakhi holds great significance for Sikhs, formation of Khalsa Panth was in year 1699.

Harvest Festival:
Baisakhi is mainly a harvest festival for farmers beacuse after hard work and lookafter the crops of wheat in different areas in India. The farmers cut down tbe wheat crops and packed them on safe places, after doing theirs job they sing and dance and usually say ...... Fasla Di Muk Gayee Rakhi... O Jatta Aayee Baisakhi..... . The majority of farmers in Punjab and Northern region of India.

Religious Significance:
Baiakhi Festival is not just related with harvest, it's also related with religious Significance due to formation of Khalsa Panth on Basakhi day in 1699. Guru Gobind Singh Ji called upon Sikh to uphold religion, fight against persecution and serve humanity selflessly. So, this festival also a time to reflect on their faith and values.

Baisakhi Tradition:
Baisakhi is celebrated with great prompting and passion . People wake up early in the morning. They take their bath, Men often wear new clothes with colored turbans and rumala on their heads, while women adorn themselves in vibrant suits or sarees. The vibrant colors and intricate designs reflect the festive spirit of Basakhi. They visit Gurdwaras to offer prayers and seek blessings each other. Ladies Gents and kids play with different kinds of musical instruments and sing Nagar Kirtan songs on streets and Mohalas.. They perform traditional dance like Bhangra and Giddha. They also share meal at Guru ka Langar in Gurdwaras. Langar is open to everyone, regardless of their religion, caste, or social status, reflecting the inclusive ethos of Sikhism.
Meal Celebration :
Meal Celebration plays a central role in Baisakhi festival. People prepare diffrent types of delicious traditional dishes at their homes and server it to friends, relatives, near and dear . They prepare and server dishes like Makki di Roti and Sarson da Saag , Daal Makhni with other delicacies to one and another .

Baisakhi is symbol of happiness and joyful moments. People celebrates it with spirit of unity, gratitude, and community. Basakhi brings people more closer and reminds us of the importance of compassion and harmony.
